Subjects
- The subjects offered are Veda, Vedant, Sahitya, DharmaShastra, Nyaya, Jyotish, Paurohitya, Shiksha Shastri, Vyakaran, Mimansa, Darshan, Vastu, Puran, Gujrati, Hindi, English, Economics, Computer etc.
- The University has designed curriculum in a manner so as to equip the students with functional knowledge of English and Computers.
- Shastri (Graduate), Aacharya (Post Graduate), Padvika (Diploma) Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.) Vidyavaridhi (Phd.) M.Phil. Pramanpatra (Certificate) courses are offered. In Jyotish, Vastushastra, Porohitym (Karmkand), Fine Arts and Temple Management diploma courses have been started.
- Provision of external examination is also made.
- We have made the provision of Co-guide for research work
Eligibility for admission
- A student passing the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination i.e. twelfth standard examination or any equivalent examination approved by the UGC is eligible for admission to Shastri First year of this University. A student, who has completed twelfth standard examination of Commerce or Science stream, is also eligible to get admission in Shastri First Year. Such students have to clear bridge course in Sanskrit. For this the University organizes special programme.
- Candidates for the Degree of Acharya i.e. Master of Arts must have passed the examination for the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit.
- For M.Phil. regular lectures are conducted at university and at Anand centre. Admission is given purely on the basis of merit.
- For P.hd candidates have to apply directly to the registrar.
Next planning
- Our planning is to have M.O.U with other universities and institutions for research work - especially with Ayurved university, Sanskrit universities, Engineering colleges and Technical universities.
